Graduated as the program's all-time leader in batting average (.405), slugging percentage (.759), on-base (.543), runs (159), home runs (47), RBI (190), walks (147), total bases (420), defensive putouts (1,191), while second in doubles (45) and fifth in hits (224)...
At the end of the 2017 season, she was seventh in walks, 20th in RBI, 24th in total bases and 29th in home runs among all active NCAA softball players... She was sixth in walks, 11th in RBI and 14th in total bases among Division I softball players at the end of 2017.

2017 (Senior) – First-Team All-Conference USA... Named Preseason All-Conference USA ... Named to the USA Softball preseason Player of the Year Watch List... Broke through to set career records in home runs, RBI, total bases, walks and putouts, after setting records for walks and averages the previous season... One of two players in Division I at the end of the regular season with at least 50 runs (51), 50 RBI (52) and 50 walks... Set career highs with 51 runs, 15 home runs and 52 RBI... Tied for the Conference USA lead with 52 total RBI, second-most in school history in a season... Her 15 homers were tied for second-most in C-USA after hitting four in her last six games of the regular season, all against LA Tech... One of three Panthers to start and play in all 61 games for the season... Of her 15 season homers, five gave FIU the lead (and produced game-winning RBI) and three more tied the game, including two in one game, one to tie the score and the second to provide the come-from-behind RBI in the second game of a doubleheader home sweep of LA Tech, 5/5... 2016 (Junior) – Second-Team All-Conference USA... Appeared in 41 games, all starts at first base... Missed 15 games due to injury, but still led the team with a .413 average, 13 home runs, 46 RBI, an .835 slugging percentage and .510 on-base percentage... Tied for the team lead with 20 walks and 12 doubles... Set new career high with team-best six RBI after tying the team high for the season with a pair of homers in home win over Central Connecticut State, 2/26... Tied career high with three runs scored in road win at Marshall in second game of league doubleheader, 4/30... One of two player to draw three walks in a game when earning a trio of free passes in home game against Siena, 2/26... Season high of three hits was achieved twice, while she hit two home runs in a game twice of the five times achieved by the team for the season... Led team with 14 multiple-RBI games, including a team-best nine with two RBI and four more to tie for the team with three RBI... Finished third on the team with 18 multi-hit games... Reached base safely in 20-straight games, best streak for the the season for an FIU hitter... Finished the year reaching base safely in the last four games... Batted .339 in conference games, striking out only once in 62 league at bats... Tied for team lead with six home runs in conference games and led team with 19 conference-only RBI... Recorded 252 putouts and 22 assists without a fielding error.
2015 (Sophomore) – Second-Team All-Conference USA... Finished with the best single-season batting average in FIU history, as she hit .444 during the season, which ranked third in Conference USA... Her 51 total RBI is the second-most any Panther has driven in during a season...Named to the 2015 Conference USA preseason All-Conference team and finished the season as a second-team selection... Finished second in the league in slugging (.798), first on on-base percentage (.833) and third in RBI...Tallied a 33-game reached base streak... Posted a Sand Dollar Classic-high 12 RBI during FIU’s six-game stay in Alabama to open the season... Went yard on her first at-bat of the season versus a strong Houston team and made it twice in three games with a first-at-bat home run when she did it again versus McNeese State... Both home runs were two-run shots, while she collected four RBI versus Houston alone... Plated two-or-more RBI in five of six games to open the season... Picked up her third career multi-home run game versus the Villanova Wildcats during the EMU Madeira Beach Invitational, going deep in both the third and fifth inning... Led the Panthers’ offense again during the Felsberg Invitational, keeping it four-straight weekends that the first baseman hit over .500... She posted a .571 average, accumulating 8 hits in 14 chances to go along with six walks and two intentional walks versus Michigan State... Went three-straight games with multiple hits, posting a weekend-high (2/27-3/1) three hits versus Bethune-Cookman... During the course of six games, she stole six bases, including two, two-stolen base games, including a steal of home... Drove in two runs and went 2-for-3 with a double versus Marshall during a nationally televised broadcast on FOX Sports, 3/9...  With opposing pitchers unable to tame the bat of Texeira, the only solution in the month of March was to walk the sophomore first baseman... She was walked 25 times, with nine multi-walk games in an 11-game span, in addition to being walked a career-high four times in as many plate appearances on March 17 versus UMass Lowell ... With only 32 official at bats during FIU’s 17 games in March, five of the times pitchers chose to ot pitch to her, she hit for extra bases (two doubles, one triple, two home runs) and plated 11 RBI... The home run at Middle Tennessee moved her into the 8th all-time spot on FIU’s home runs list...Played a big role in the Panthers coming back to win in the bottom of the seventh inning versus the UAB Blazers, who were receiving votes in the polls... With the bases loaded and one out, she drove in the game-winner on a single through the right side...Made it two-straight games where she played with seventh inning magic when her two-run double on April 8 against North Florida tied the game, as part of a contest that had three RBI... Picked up her second-career four-RBI game on the final day of the season as she went 2-for-3 with a triple and three-run home run
2014 (Freshman) – Conference USA Freshman of the Year and named Second-Team All-C-USA and to the C-USA All-Freshman team after a freshman year that etched her in the FIU record books… Went on to be named First Team All-South Region and is only the third Panther to be named First Team in program history…Finished tops in the league for home runs by a freshman (11), posted the highest on-base percentage regardless of class for all of C-USA and ranked No. 34 nationally (.516), had the third-highest batting average in the league and the highest among freshmen and ranked No. 56 nationally (.408), was second in slugging, while leading freshmen and ranking No. 57 nationally (.736) and finished sixth in RBI (41)… Was a two-time C-USA Player of the Week and was the first player in FIU history to earn the award following the opening weekend of the season… Got off to the hottest start at the plate through five games in program history (.833), on her way to her first C-USA weekly honor…Went 4-for-5 in her collegiate debut against the ACC’s Maryland, as part of a 10-for-12 weekend with 5 RBI… Had two multi-home run games (3/14 at Jacksonville and 4/26 vs. North Texas)… Drove in 5 RBI versus Jacksonville, marking her first 5-RBI game of her career… Finished her freshman season with 16 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games… Had a 22-game streak of safely reaching base, which spanned over a month of play (3/8 – 4/13)… Was one of two players to start all 53 games… Fielded a perfect 1.000 in conference games… Finished with the second-best batting average in school history, one point off of the top average
Prep – The first high school All-American to sign with FIU in in program history... Lettered in softball all four years while at Gulliver Prep… Earned softball player of the year accolades as a senior… Was part of the All-Dade First Team for three-straight years (2011, 2012, 2013)… Hit .588 her senior year, tallying 17 home runs
Personal –  Born May 26, 1995… Daughter of Mario and Lissette Texeira… Has two siblings, Mario and Jordan… Was also recruited by West Virginia, George Washington, FGCU… Graduated in May, 2017 with degree in liberal studies... Aspires to play professional softball.
