Transfer student from Lourdes University...recorded 341 kills, 396 digs, 29 blocks and 35 aces in 106 sets her junior year (2016)…was awarded Newcomer of the Year (2015)…named to the First Team All-Conference (2015-2016), First Team All-Region (2015) and NAIA Third Team All-American (2015) …led the Gray Wolves to regular season conference champions (2015, 2016)…was awarded to the Dean’s List Spring 2014, Academic All-District 2016 and Academic All-Conference 2016...played for Georgia State from 2013-2015...saw action in 29 matches in her sophomore year… finished second on the team with 28 service aces… registered 225 digs (2.25/set), third most on the team…as a rookie, saw action in 29 matches and 107 total sets … recorded 264 digs (2.47/set) and 24 service aces… tallied 72 kills and 66 assists…recorded 11 double figure dig contests...attended Bishop Hartley High School where she was a member of the volleyball, basketball and swimming teams…named First Team All-Ohio and Division II Player of the Year (2012)…led team to the state championship (2011) and several district championships (2009-2011)…named Defensive MVP (2012) and Offensive MVP (2011)…also recruited by Georgia Tech, Montevallo, Wheeling Jesuit and Gannon University.
 
PERSONAL 
Born January 20, 1995…daughter of Steven and Catherine Shonk…has two older siblings, Daniel and Kelsey…hobbies include singing, watching Netflix and playing pickup volleyball with friends…plans to major in criminal justice and psychology and move back to Columbus and get a job in the criminal justice field upon graduation.
