Prior to FIU: Started college career at Elon (N.C.) and played there his freshman season...Played at the College of Central Florida last season where he was a teammate of current FIU outfielder Christian Khawam...Earned second team all-conference at CCF...Caught 13 of 17 baserunners stealing and hit .280 with 11 doubles at CCF...Made the dean's list at CCF...Played high school ball at Miami Killian...Recruited by Florida, Appalachian State and Siena.

Personal: Born Sept. 26, 1994...Son of George and Janet Mira...Has a younger sister, Monica...Majoring in finance with the goal of becoming a finanical advisor...Father, George Mira Jr. was a linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers, played his college ball at Miami...Grandfather, George Mira Sr. was a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Colts, also played collegiately at Miami.
