2016-17 (Junior): Appeared in 13 meets for the Panthers… Mayhew set three personal records at the Conference USA Championship (2/22/17), including in the 50 Free (23.31), 100 Fly (55.00), and 200 Fly (2:07.78)… She finished in the top-three seven times on the year, including a first-place finish against UNF (11/5/17) in the 100 Fly (57.46)… She was named captain during the 2016-17 campaign, and received the Mentor Award and Panther Spirit Award among her team… Mayhew was named to the Dean’s List and was a 2016-17 Winter C-USA Spirit of Service Honoree.

2015-16 (Sophomore): Appeared in 11 meets for the Panthers…Notched six top-three finishes…Set personal-bests in the 50 Free (23.35 – 2/25), the 100 Free (52.38 – 11/22), the 100 Back (56.21 – 2.26) and the 100 Fly (55.88 – 55.88)…Recorded a personal-best in the finals of the 50 Free during the Conference USA Championships (2/25)…Took second in the 100 Back (59.02) at the North Florida Tri-Meet (10/3)…Finished third in the 100 Back at Florida Atlantic (2/6) with a time of 59.07…Set a new personal best of 56.21 during the finals of the 100 Back at the C-USA Championships (2/26)…Placed first in the 100 Fly (57.81) at the North Florida Tri-Meet (10/3)…Recorded a career-best time of 55.58 in the 100 Fly during the C-USA Championships (2/26)…Named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll (GPA of 3.00-or-better).
 
2014-15 (Freshman): Appeared in 12 meets for the Panthers…recorded six top-three finishes…Placed second in the 100 Free at Florida Atlantic (10/4) with a time of 53.88…Notched a personal-best time of 2:05.14 in the 200 Back at the Missouri Invitational (11/22)…Came in first in the 100 Back (1:00.86) versus North Florida (12/17)…Also finished second in the 200 IM (2:17.73)…Had a third-place finish in the 100 Back (59.54) during the FIU Relays (1/8)…Finished third in the 100 Fly versus Florida Atlantic (1/30) with a time of 59.13…Competed in the 50 Free, the 100 Free and the 100 Back during the Conference USA Championships…Named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll (GPA of 3.00-or-better).
 
Prior to FIU: Posted top times of 23.45 in the 50 freestyle, 56.52 in the 100 backstroke and 51.19 in the 100 freestyle…Served as her swim team captain…Was a Scholastic All-American Swimmer, determined by USA Swimming…Holds her high school records in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 400 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay…In the classroom, was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…Chose FIU over Arizona State University, Cornell University, and Dartmouth College.
 
Personal: Parents – Craig and Polly Mayhew...Majoring in marine biology (minor in chemistry)…plans on going to veterinary school after college…Mother swam at the University of Tennessee.
