2018-19 (Senior): Held a leadership position during her senior year...Named C-USA Swimmer of the Year, tying a league high after picking it up for the third time in her career.... Caped her FIU career with a fourth and final run to the NCAA Championships...At the championships she set a a new school record in the 100 Back with a time of 52.42...Led her team to its fifth-straight conference title...Set a new meet record at the C-USA Championships (2/27) in the 100 Free when she touched at 48.45...Was part of three gold medaling relays at conference, 400 Free relay, 200 Medley Relay and 400 Medley Relay...Won her fourth gold medal in the 100 Back event (52.51)...Took home gold medals in the 50 and 100 Freestyle events...Owns 21 top-ten finishes on the season, including 10 first-place finishes...Was named to the 2018-19 C-USA Academic Honor Roll List.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Competed in 12 meets for the Panthers…Part of the qualified NCAA team in the 400 freestyle relay, the 200 freestyle and the 200 medley relay… Ruele set a school and Conference record in the 400 Freestyle relay and a school record in the 200 Freestyle, 200 Medley and 400 Medley at the Conference USA Championship (2/22/17)… She finished first in the 100 Backstroke with a personal record of 52.87 at the C-USA Championship… She was named Swimmer of the Week the week of Nov. 22… Ruele represented Botswana at the Final World Swimming Championship during the month of November… She finished first in eight times in the 50 Free and set a season-best at the Louisville Mid-Season Invite (11/18/17) with a time of 22.28… She also set a personal record in the 200 Back at the FIU Tri-Meet (10.21) with a time of 2:07.96 and finished third… She recorded 32 top-three finishes on the season.
 
2015-16 (Redshirt Freshman): Qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 50-meter Free, representing her home country of Botswana…Finished 47th with a time of 26.23 (second in her heat)…Awarded Botswana’s Junior Female Sportsperson of the Year Award…Named Conference USA Swimmer of the Year…Set three school records during the year (50 Free – 22.23; 100 Free – 49.30; 200 Free Relay – 1:30.70)…Her time in the 50 Free in the C-USA Championships was a conference record…Claimed seven conference titles during the championships (perfect 7-of-7 in events – three individual and four relays)…Finished either first or second in the 50 Free 12 times…Posted times under 23 seconds five times, including a 22.33 in the prelims of the C-USA Championships and her record-setting time of 22.23 in the finals (2/25)…Named C-USA Swimmer of the Meet for the championships…Became the fifth FIU swimmer to compete in the NCAA Championships, placing 41st in the 50 free. Recorded a time of 22.68 was the fourth-fastest time of her career, while her qualifying time for the NCAAs was tied for the 30th-fastest in the nation…Also posted first-place finishes in the 100 Free, including the school record (49.30) in the C-USA finals (2/27)…Claimed nine first- or second-place finishes in the 100 Back, including a personal best time of 53.09 at the C-USA Championships (2/26)…Claimed 12 first-place finishes in relay action...Was the first leg of the school-record-setting performance (with Letizia Bertelli, Jennifer Alfani and Jennifer Deist) during the C-USA Championship (2/25).
 
2014-15 (Freshman): Redshirted freshman year.
 
Prior to FIU: Earned a bronze medal in the 50 back with a time of 30.13 at the 2014 South Africa championships…Finished 5th in the 100 back with a time of 1:05.24 at the championships as well…Also has top times of 27.42 in the 50 freestyle and 1:01.81 in the 100 freestyle...Was a participant in the London 2012 Training Program…Earned five gold medals at the Botswana Nationals in December 2013…Earned three gold medals in the 50 backstroke, 100 backstroke, and 50 freestyle at the CANA Zone III & IV in Zambia in April 2013…Qualified for the Youth Olympic Games in the 50 backstroke at the South African National Aquatics in 2013, becoming the first swimmer in her country to qualify for the event…A two-time Sportswoman of the Year at her high school (Maru A Pula)…Coached by Darrel Morton…Named team captain.
