2018-19 (Sophomore): Lead off the 400 Freestyle Relay that captured gold at the C-USA Championships (2/27) and swam the second leg of the gold medaling 200 Medley Relay (1:38.55)...Picked up a gold medal in the 100 Fly event (54.12), and silver in the 100 Breast (1:00.98)...Achieved a career best at the conference tournament during the 200 IM (2:00.68)...Took second against Miami (9/29) in both the 100 Fly (57.24) and 200 IM (2:08.26)...Was victorious in the 200 IM (2:06.04) at the TYR Fall Classic (10/5)...At Denver (10/20) she placed second in the 100 IM (58.84) and fourth in the 400 IM (2:08.10)...During the FIU Sprint Invite (1/5) she placed fourth in both the 50 Fly (26.67) and 100 IM (1:00.94)...Picked up back-to-back wins in the 200 IM over CCSU (1/12) and FGCU (1/26)...Closed out the season with 23 individual top-10 finished and four first-place finishes...Was named to the 2018-19 C-USA Academic Honor Roll list. 

2017-18 (Freshman): Was named C-USA Freshman Swimmer of the Year...Registered a fourth-place finish in the 100 Breast (1:01.62) at the Conference Championships (2/22), took seventh in the 50 Free (23.29) and 11th in the 100 Free (50.78)...Opened up the season with a win against Miami (9/27), dominating the 200 IM (2:06.59) and achieving a third-place finish in the 50 Free (23.94)...Solidified wins in the 100 Fly against all opponents this season (TYR 10/6), Georgia Southern (12/14) and Nova (1/20)...Against CCSU (1/11) she took first in both the 100 Free (51.69) and 200 Free (1:53.51)...Was victorious against Illinois (11/3) in the 50 Breast (28.86)...Closed out the post-season run at the National Invitational Championship with a win in the 100 IM event (55.77)...Scored outside of the top-10 only once during the season and finished with 11 individual wins...Was named to the 2017-18 Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to FIU: Coached by her father, Tamas Gyertyanffy… Can compete for both Italy and Hungary… Has earned podium finishes at the Italian and Hungarian Junior Nationals multiple times… Participated in the European Junior Nationals in Dordrecht, Netherlands… One of the top junior swimmers in Italy…Attended European Championships in 2014 with the Italian National Team and placed 5th in the 50 breast and 3rd in the 400 medley relay.
 
Personal: Parents – Tamas Gyertyanffy and Laura Caceffo… Siblings – Twins sisters Clara and Eva who are 14 years old… Is majoring in International Business… Plans on working for a company that specials in importing and exporting to different countries around the world after college… Enjoys listening to Spanish music, dancing, kayaking, and going out with her friends.
