Bec was hired before the 2025 season as an Intern Analyst for the Panthers, contributing to player development, administrative duties, and spearheading the integration of data and analytics into the program.

A Miami native, Bec brings valuable experience from his previous role with the Nova Southeastern Sharks baseball program, where he served as an analyst through the 2024 season.

Before transitioning to coaching and analytics, Bec spent six seasons (2018–2023) as a professional baseball player in the Toronto Blue Jays organization. During his collegiate years, he was a standout two-year starter for the University of Maine Black Bears (2017–2018), earning a spot on the prestigious Johnny Bench Award Watch List, which honors the nation's top catcher.

In his senior year, Bec was a unanimous America East First Team selection. He played in 45 games, posted a .316 batting average, and led the team with 16 stolen bases. Over two seasons at Maine, he played in 99 games, tallied 124 hits, and held an impressive .328 batting average.

Before Maine, Bec played for Miami Dade College (2014–2016), where he was a two-year starter and earned All-American honors for his performance. His played high school baseball at John A. Ferguson Senior High School in Miami.
