Chris Sullivan

Chris Sullivan is in his ninth year as an assistant coach with the FIU track & field program, where he oversees the jumps, pole vault, and multi-event groups. A former FIU standout student-athlete, Sullivan is among the most accomplished jumpers in program history. He qualified for the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the high jump and earned NCAA All-America Honorable Mention honors.

Since joining the coaching staff, Sullivan has helped develop nationally competitive athletes across the jumps and combined events. Several FIU athletes have qualified for NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships, captured multiple conference titles, and set Conference USA records. Sullivan has used his expertise in the sport to focus on maximizing performance while supporting the long-term development of each student-athlete.

As both a former Panther student-athlete and coach, Sullivan uses his unique perspective to help mentor the next generation of FIU athletes.
