Auguste serves as an Associate Athletic Director, overseeing Athletics Facilities & Operations. Auguste has held his current title since August of 2016.
Auguste has had multiple stints at FIU, serving as an Athletics Ticket Manager before working his way up to an Assistant Athletic Director for Game Operations from 2008-13. During that time, he served as a tournament manager when FIU was a regional host for the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball First and Second Rounds at American Airlines Arena. Auguste's first role with FIU was assisting with the opening of the FIU Community Stadium (Riccardo Silva Stadium) and its complete renovation.
Outside of FIU, Auguste has worked at Nova Southeastern University at the Don Taft Arena as the Director of Operations from 2013-16, while starting his professional career in ticketing at Dolphins Stadium for the then Florida Marlins and Miami Dolphins.
A native of Yonkers, New York, Auguste moved to Miramar, Florida in 1986. Auguste earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in 2000. Auguste and his wife, Grizelle "Gigi" Garcia, have two wonderful children, Alexander and Mya. Auguste met his wife while she was the head athletic trainer at FIU.
