Glick serves as Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Operating Officer at FIU. He is the sport administrator for men’s and women’s basketball, and aided FIU’s transition from the Sun Belt to Conference USA in 2013. Glick also oversees Facilities & Operations and Game Management & Operations for the Athletic Department.

Glick has worked in an administration role at FIU since May of 2009, first serving as the Athletic Department’s Chief of Staff until being promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief of Staff in July of 2013. Glick was elevated to his current role of Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Operating Officer in October of 2014.

Over the past decade, Glick’s implemented plans have significantly increased revenue for facility rentals and has far exceeded revenue goals. Glick has also secured and negotiated numerous contract agreements while at FIU, with the highlights being the football stadium naming rights, multimedia rights with VWSE and a premises use agreement with USL pro soccer club Miami FC.

As the sport administrator for men’s and women’s basketball, Glick has led head coach searches for both teams while also collaborating with the men’s basketball APR committee to bring the program into compliance with NCAA benchmarks.

In addition to his numerous roles at FIU, Glick has managed presidential visits, MMA events and the Miss Universe Pageant. Glick is also responsible for fostering and maintaining the Athletic Department’s relationship with Miami FC and serves as the Athletic Department liaison to University General Counsel, Board of Trustees, Purchasing and Human Resources.

Glick began his Division I basketball experience at the University of Miami (Fla.) as he assisted the coaching staff from 2002-04. He made the move to FIU in 2004, first serving as Director of Men’s Basketball Operations for Sergio Rouco’s staff from 2004-06 before spending two seasons at Florida State on Leonard Hamilton’s staff as his video coordinator. Glick returned to 8th street in 2008, after reuniting with Coach Rouco as an assistant coach for a season before transitioning to an administration role.

A native of New York, Glick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Emory in 2001 and his Juris Doctor from UM in 2004. Glick is also a member of the Florida Bar and is an adjunct professor at the FIU College of Law, teaching sports law.
