Hunter DuBois is the Assistant Athletic Director for Creative Content at FIU, overseeing all creative and social media efforts for the university’s 13 varsity sports. Since arriving at FIU three years ago, he has elevated the program’s digital presence and creative content, focusing primarily on the day-to-day management of FIU Football’s social media platforms.
DuBois has been the creative architect behind the Vice U uniform unveil campaigns, which have become a standout trend nationally, drawing millions of views and earning coverage from outlets like Sports Illustrated and ESPN. Under his leadership, FIU Football has risen from 109th in the nation in Instagram follower growth before his arrival to 29th in 2022, 26th in 2023, 10th in 2024, and now 2nd midway through 2025, solidifying FIU as one of the top football social media brands in the Group of Five.
In addition to his current responsibilities, DuBois has produced intro videos and led major video projects across all FIU sports, while also supporting the department’s overall content creation. These efforts have helped establish a consistent creative standard and continue to shape the program’s brand identity.
DuBois also founded FIU’s creative intern team, which did not exist before his tenure and has since grown into a key part of the department’s creative efforts. Students in the program have gone on to work at the Miami Heat, the National Football League, Unrivaled, and Mississippi State.
Prior to FIU, DuBois spent three years at Barry University as a graduate assistant and later as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, where he helped build one of Division II’s leading social media programs.
A South Florida native, DuBois is from Palm City, Florida.
