FIU Athletics

Saud was named the Spirit Team & Mascot Coordinator for FIU Athletics in August of 2015, overseeing the FIU Dazzlers, Cheerleaders, and Roary. Karina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from FIU and was a member of the Golden Dazzlers from 2005-2009. 

Saud has worked as the dance instructor at Monsignor Edward Pace High School since 2009. During her coaching administration, the Pace Danceline Starlettes have earned four national titles. 

Under Saud's direction, FIU Spirit was named the 2017 National Cheer Alliance/National Dance Alliance Most Spirited program. The Dazzlers ranked third in Division 1A Hip Hop, while the FIU Cheerleaders ranked second in the Intermediate Coed Division. Graduates from FIU Spirit have continued their careers as Miami Heat Dancers, Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, Marlins Mermaids, Boston Celtics Dancers, NDA Staff Members and NCA Staff Members.
