FIU Athletics

Kyle LaGrutta joined FIU Athletics in December of 2025 as a Financial Analyst. In this position, he supports the department’s day-to-day financial and operational activities through purchasing and procurement processes, account reconciliations, and vendor relations, while working closely with assigned sport programs and administrative units.

Before joining FIU Athletics, Kyle built a strong foundation in collegiate athletics with Texas A&M. From 2022 to 2024, he worked as a student assistant with the football program, assisting with day-to-day team activities. He later served as an intern within the athletic department’s Internal Operations unit, where he gained experience supporting daily financial operations at a Power 4 level.

Kyle attended Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in 2024 and a Master's degree in 2025. He is passionate about collegiate athletics and is committed to supporting student-athlete success through sound financial management and operational excellence.
