FIU Athletics

Nick Garrido joined the FIU Athletics Staff as the Assistant AD for Live Productions in August of 2023. In his role, he oversees all the ESPN+ productions of FIU Athletics. 

The Miami native came to FIU after spending 7 years at WSVN, the Fox affiliate in Miami. While at WSVN, he was the Senior Sports Producer where he produced Lexus Sports Xtra every Sunday night as well as all the daily sportscasts throughout the week. In addition, he also produced 7 on the Sidelines, which was a live Miami Dolphins pre and post game show.  

Before WSVN, Garrido served as a Digital Media intern with the Florida Panthers. 

He is a proud Boston University alum and he currently resides in Miami with his wife Lauren and dog Nikki.
