Duran serves as the Director of Finance & Accounting at FIU, overseeing Business Operations. Duran has held her current title since 2019. 

Duran first began at FIU in September of 2012, in the Office of the Controller. 

A native of Miami, Duran earned her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from FIU in 2006, before obtaining her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern in 2014. Duran and her husband have three children.
