Series preview: Due to expected inclement weather during the weekend in Bowling Green, Ky. the series has shifted to a doubleheader on Friday starting at 3 p.m. EDT. The series finale is scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday afternoon but if the teams cannot play due to expected rain then the series finale would be at 1 p.m. EDT on Sunday. . .With 12 conference games left FIU is sitting on the outside looking in for the conference tournament. The top eight teams make the conference tournament in Hattiesburg, Miss. on May 25. Currently, FIU is tied for ninth with Charlotte at 7-11, one game behind Old Dominion. . .The Panthers took two of three games from Florida Atlantic last weekend. WKU swept UTSA last weekend and sits tied for sixth with UAB in the conference standings.
