RUSTON, LA – FIU visits Louisiana Tech for a three-game series beginning Thursday night at 7 p.m. from Patterson Park in Ruston, Louisiana.
The series between the Panthers (12-14, 3-3 Conference USA) and the Bulldogs (20-7, 5-1 C-USA) continues Friday at 7 p.m. and concludes Saturday at 3 p.m. The series start was moved up a day due to Easter Sunday.

FIU is coming off taking two of three games from Old Dominion last week. The Panthers got another solid start from
Logan Allen, who pitched eight innings, allowed three earned runs and struck out a career-high nine batters in last Friday's win.
Allen's four wins has him tied for second in Conference USA and with 41 strikeouts the freshman is tied for sixth in the league. FIU's pitching staff leads C-USA with 262 strikeouts.
Austin Shenton leads the Panthers with a .366 average and is tied with
Jose Garcia for the team lead with eight home runs. Garcia paces FIU with 23 RBI. FIU leads the league in home runs with 34.
Hunter Wells leads LA Tech with a .357 average. Mason Mallard's four home runs and Chris Clayton's 19 RBI also lead the Bulldogs. LA Tech leads the league with 35 stolen bases. Mallard is the conference's top base stealer with 13.
LA Tech's ERA of 2.07 is second in the nation, and tops in C-USA. Matt Miller (1.16 ERA) has the lowest ERA among starters in C-USA.
The Bulldogs took two of three games from FIU last season in Miami. FIU leads the all-time series with LA Tech, 15-9. The series started in 1999.
