meanwhile, FIU freshman goalkeeper Madeline
Gannon made five saves. Gannon made many
strong plays in the game for the Golden
Panthers, including when FSU’s Marion
Cagle sent a great ball inside the right
portion of the FIU 18-yard box and teammate
Jez Ratliff ran on to the pass but Gannon
charged out and slid at the feet of the
senior just before she could reach the service.
She answered the call, later in the contest,
in the 66th minute when Ratliff centered
the ball to Rachel McDowell, but Gannon
was right there to make the stop with a
diving save.

on Tuesday, Sept. 28 for its next contest
at 7 p.m.
