Jacksonville, Fla. ? Keri Zwikker scored off an assist from Emilie Howland with three seconds remaining as Jacksonville defeated Florida International, 1-0, in non-conference women's soccer action Wednesday afternoon in Jacksonville, Fla.

The final score did not necessarily reflect the nature of the contest, as FIU (0-3) enjoyed the majority of chances throughout the match.  The Golden Panthers out-shot the Dolphins (1-1), 16-6, and had a 13-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Perhaps the best opportunity for FIU came in the 39^th minute when junior defender Kristin Hurst's (Miami, Fla./Felix Varela) shot hit the post at the conclusion of a period of offensive pressure which saw the Golden Panthers earn a corner and had a Nanna Rasmussen (Odense, Denmark) shot blocked.

Jacksonville goalkeeper Michelle Kmiotek had a match-high six saves, while FIU freshman Marina Pappas (Lancaster, Pa.) had a match-high four shots.

The Golden Panthers return to action a week from tonight when they travel across town to take on Miami in Coral Gables at 7 p.m.
