FIU's women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie on Friday night at Louisiana-Lafayette.

Both teams had their chances, combining for 42 shots including 17 on goal. Freshman goalkeeper Melanie Raimo (Tampa, Fla.) recorded ten saves for the Golden Panthers.

FIU sophomore forward Claudia Cardenas (Visalia, Calif.) had five shots for the Golden Panthers.

The Golden Panthers will be back in action on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Louisiana-Monroe.
