Cal Poly 5, FIU 0

FIU's women's soccer team dropped their second and final game of their west coast trip, 5-0, to Cal Poly.

The Mustangs scored four first half goals and tallied one more in the second to hand the Golden Panthers the loss.

"Cal Poly did a great job but we'll continue to work and get ready for the conference," said head coach Thomas Chestnutt. "Things just didn't go our way this weekend but now we have two weeks to get prepared."

Freshman goalkeeper Melanie Raimo stopped seven shots for FIU.

The Golden Panthers are off until they host Middle Tennessee at 7 p.m. on September 26^th to kick off Sun Belt Conference play.
