The football game between the FIU Panthers and the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders will be broadcast on ESPN3 and is set to kick off at 6 p.m. (ET). The televised contest is the ninth of the year for the Panthers - Sept. 11 versus Rutgers (ESPN3); Sept. 25 at Maryland (ESPNU); Oct. 9 versus WKU (Sun Belt Network); Oct. 16 at North Texas (Sun Belt Network); Nov. 6 vs. ULM (Sun Belt Network), Nov. 13 at Troy (Sun Belt Network), Nov. 27 vs. Arkansas State (Sun Belt Network) & Dec. 4 vs. Middle Tennessee (ESPN3).
This past Saturday, the Panthers (6-5; 6-1 SBC) clinched at least a share of the Sun Belt Conference championship by beating the Arkansas State Red Wolves 31-24. With a victory, the Panthers would assure themselves of an outright Sun Belt Conference championship. The Blue Raiders (5-6; 4-3 SBC), who are coming off a 38-14 victory over Florida Atlantic, need a win to become bowl eligible.
Next Saturday's game will be sponsored by Regions Bank. Dade, Broward and Monroe County workers with proper ID can receive up to 4 free tickets courtesy of Regions Bank. The tickets can be picked at the University Credit Union Box Office located on the first floor of the R. Kirk Landon Fieldhouse.
