MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Oct. 8, 2011) - The FIU men's soccer team (4-5-2, 1-2-0 C-USA) fell to the Memphis Tigers (6-3-1, 1-2-0 C-USA), 3-0 Saturday night at Mike Rose Stadium in Memphis, Tenn.
Freshmen Colby Burdette and Roberto de Sousa each had a team-high two shots on goal. Quentin Albrecht chipped in with a shot on goal. Another freshman, Rodney Greiling, started in goal for the second-straight game and saved three shots while giving up three goals on the night.
The Panthers return to the pitch on Tuesday, Oct. 11, and welcome nationally-ranked UCF to the FIU Soccer Stadium. Match time is 7:00 p.m.
