Panthers Out-Shoot Thundering Herd in C-USA Battle

Box Score HURRICANE, W.Va. (October 23, 2012) – The FIU men's soccer team out-shot the Marshall Thundering Herd, 21-8, in a 2-0 loss at Hurricane High in Hurricane, W.Va. FIU also had nine shots on goal to MU's two.

Freshman forward Quentin Albrecht had a team-high six shots, including two on goal. All three of junior Roberto de Sousa's shots were on goal while, seniors Lucas Di Croce,
Anthony Hobbs, freshman Daniel Gonzalez and junior Lyle Lindquist each tallied a shot on net.

The Thundering Herd (11-3-1, 3-3-0 C-USA) was efficient with the ball Tuesday night, scoring on both of their two shots on goal.

The Panthers (7-6-2, 0-5-1 C-USA) return home to face the Memphis Tigers on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 1:00 p.m., at the FIU Soccer Stadium.
