MIAMI (March 11, 2015) – The FIU women's tennis team (5-5) will continue its current nine-match home stand with a contest versus Conference USA foe WKU on Thursday, March 12.
First serve is set for 1 p.m. ET. Admission is free to the public.
FIU is a perfect 5-0 at home this season and has won nine-straight at the FIU Tennis Courts, dating back to last season. The Panthers are coming off a 5-2 win over Southern Miss on Tuesday, March 10.
Thursday's match will mark the first meeting all-time with the Hilltoppers.
The Panthers are led by junior
Carlotta Orlando who has recorded 18 singles victories this season. Orlando is a team-best 7-2 at the No. 2 spot in dual action. Senior
Yana Koroleva has won four-straight to improve to 6-3 at the No. 1 spot in dual matches and 15-7 overall.
