-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Bethune-Cookman was able to finish the half on a 9-0 run to take a 10-point lead to the break.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The teams again came out of the locker rooms with a hot shooting touch again, with the Panthers putting together a .500 quarter (7-for-14) to close the gap by one point, at 57-48.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â As well as the Panthers played in the third, the shots would not fall in the fourth. FIU started 1-for-4, and suffered a stretch of 3:47 without a field goal in the loss.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Hudson finished with 23 points, giving her an average of 22.0 in the season's opening pair. Sophomore Alexis Gordon (Palm Bay, Florida / Covenant Christian HS) added a season-high 13. Freshman Shante Walker (West Park, Florida / South Broward HS) led FIU with eight rebounds.

From the Sideline
"I don't think our energy was there tonight like it was on Friday," said FIU Head Coach Tiara Malcom after the game. "We would work to score and get a basket, but then give up one on the other end. That's not who we want to be."
