MIAMI (April 1, 2017) – FIU men's track and field standouts
Chris Sullivan and
Christian Williams shared third-place in the high jump on Saturday against some of the nation's top talent at the prestigious Pepsi Florida Relays at James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track in Gainesville. The male duo joined Panthers' female high jumper, Clarissa Cutliff, who placed third in the collegiate invitational division of the high jump on Friday.
Both Sullivan, a senior, and Williams, a junior, posted a height of 2.05m, however Sullivan is just ahead in the final standings by virtue of a jump-off. Williams's mark proved to be a personal record.
The Panthers will be back in action on April 7-8, at the University of Miami's Hurricane Alumni Meet at Cobb Stadium in Coral Gables, Florida.
