MIAMI (January 27, 2018) -- FIU will look to win its first game on the road in six attempts this season when the Panthers face Marshall at the Cam Henderson Center Sunday. The Conference USA women's basketball rematch, the first of the season for FIU, tips at 1 p.m. The Panthers took out the Thundering Herd back in Miami on January 7, in a 67-54 result.
Â
The win would give FIU its fifth sweep of a Conference USA opponent in its fifth season of league membership, and close the gap in the all-time series, which Marshall leads 5-3. Both teams enter at 6-13 overall, but FIU is 3-3 in Conference USA, while Marshall is the league's only winless team in conference, at 0-6.
