MIAMI (Oct. 9, 2018) – Week 5 of the NFL regular season is in the books, so now it's time to recap how former FIU Panthers performed in last week's games.    
 
FIU currently has eight former Panthers in the NFL, headlined by former standouts T.Y. Hilton, Johnathan Cyprien and Jonnu Smith. Below is a full rundown of FIU's current players in the NFL and how they did in week 3.
 
T.Y. HILTON (FIU - 2009-11)
Week 6 Schedule: Colts at Jets (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Former Panther great T.Y. Hilton was sidelined this week with chest and hamstring injuries. The Patriots jumped out to a big and held off a Colts comeback to win 38-24.
 
JOHNATHAN CYPRIEN (FIU - 2009-12)
Week 6 Schedule: Ravens at Titans (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)
After starting 10 games in the 2017 season for the Tennessee Titans, Cyprien tore his ACL during training camp in a non-contact play. The Titans fell 13-12 to the Bills on a last second field goal.

JONNU SMITH (FIU - 2013-16)
Week 6 Schedule: Ravens at Titans (Sunday, 4:20 p.m. ET)
Former Panther Jonnu Smith was targeted twice but did not haul in a catch as the Titans fell 13-12 to the Bills on a last second field goal.

JEREMIAH MCKINNON (FIU - 2012-15)
Week 6 Schedule: Rams at Browns (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET)
Mckinnon was signed to the Browns main team this week and recorded one tackle. The Browns clipped the Ravens in overtime to win 12-9.
 
DIEUGOT JOSEPH (FIU - 2012-16)
Week 6 Schedule: Colts at Jets (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Member of the New York Jets practice squad. The Jets tamed the Broncos 34-16.
 
PHAROAH MCKEVER (FIU - 2017)
Week 6 Schedule: Rams at Browns (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET)
Member of the Cleveland Browns practice squad. The Browns clipped the Ravens in overtime to win 12-9.

ALEX MCGOUGH (FIU - 2014-16)
Week 6 Schedule: Seahawks at Raiders (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Member of the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. The Seahawks gave up 10 fourth quarter points to loss 33-31 to the Rams.

ANTHONY WINT (FIU - 2014-17)
Week 6 Schedule: Colts at Jets (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Member of the New York Jets practice squad. The Jets tamed the Broncos 34-16.
