MIAMI (April 5, 2018) – The FIU women's tennis team (10-2) hits the road to take on Middle Tennessee (14-4) on Friday, April 6. First serve is set for 2 p.m.

The Panthers are ranked at No. 41 in the latest Oracle/ITA National Team Rankings. FIU comes into this weekend's matches with senior Andrea Lazaro ranked at No. 5 in the Oracle/ITA National Singles Rankings. Junior Maryna Veksler and sophomore Ulyana Grib are No. 21 in the Oracle/ITA National Doubles Rankings.

FIU recorded a winning streak of eight matches before losing its last match against No. 22 UCF last week. Middle Tennessee won its last match against Alabama A&M, 7-0. The Panthers and the Blue Raiders met last time in 2017 with FIU winning 7-0. Overall FIU is 10-1 in dual matches.
