MIAMI (Sept. 19, 2018) – FIU hits the road for Charlotte and Marshall this weekend, marking the Panthers' first road Conference USA matches of the season.
FIU will face Charlotte on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. ET, before closing out the road trip at Marshall on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. ET.

CHARLOTTE PREVIEW
Charlotte enters Thursday's match with a 4-3-0 mark on the year. The contest against FIU will mark the 49ers first C-USA match of the year, with Charlotte having won two out of its last three overall in 2018.
MARSHALL PREVIEW
The Thundering Herd is 2-4-2 on the season, having dropped its first C-USA match of the year to Florida Atlantic last time out. Overall, Marshall has only won once in its last four matches, dropping contests to the Ohio and the Owls, while tying with Gardner-Webb.
INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU has never defeated either foe this weekend, going 0-4 against Charlotte and 0-3-2 against Marshall.
WELCOME TO MIAMI
Freshman Kédie Johnson made her first appearance as a Panther two weekends ago, with the Trinidad & Tobago native seeing 84 total minutes of action against Texas Tech and SMU. The freshman earned a start against SMU, playing 52 minutes at forward.
JACK STRIKES TWICE
Freshman
Kaydeen Jack had a breakout game against SMU on Sept. 9, as she scored two goals for the Panthers in defeat. The two-score game is the first for any Panther since Alyssa Robinson achieved the feat on Aug. 21, 2016 against USF.
