COLUMBIA, Missouri (Sept. 30, 2018) – For the fifth-straight year, The FIU women's golf team will travel to the Show Me State to take part in the 11th annual Johnnie Imes Inviational.
The three-day, 54-hole event begins Monday at the par-72 Old Hawthorne Golf Club. FIU is set to tee off at 9 a.m. ET.
"Missouri is one of our favorite tournaments of the year," FIU coach Joseph Vogel said. "The course is exceptional and it usually draws out some of our best scores of the year. Our players are excited and they are ready."
Along with the Panthers, the 13-team field features Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State, Bradley, Florida Gulf Coast, Fresno State, Illinois State, Mercer, UMKC, Missouri State, Northern Illinois, Wichita State and host Mizzou.
The Panthers will use the same scorecard that placed T7 at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational with Valentina Gilly,
Carolina Andrade,
Agueda Cortilla,
Gabriela Powel and
Ana Maria Rengifo rounding out the rest of the FIU lineup.
