FIU currently has four former Panthers in the NFL, headlined by former standouts T.Y. Hilton and Jonnu Smith are joined by
Alex McGough and Johnathan Cyprien a month into the 2019 NFL season.
T.Y. Hilton (FIU - 2009-11)
Week 6 Schedule: Bye Week
Former Panther great T.Y. Hilton returned to action on Sunday after sitting out last week with an injury. The franchise wideout caught four balls for 37 yards in the Colts 19-13 upset of the Chiefs on Sunday night.
Johnathan Cyprien (FIU - 2009-12)
Week 6 Schedule: Falcons at Cardinals (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET)
Cyprien collected two tackles in the Falcons' 53-32 loss to the Texans and was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday.
Jonnu Smith (FIU - 2013-16)
Week 6 Schedule: Titans at Broncos (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)
Smith hauled in one pass for 57 yards as the Titans fell in a 14-7 defensive struggle to the Bills.
Alex McGough (FIU - 2014-17)
Week 6 Schedule: Texans at Chiefs (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
McGough was an inactive on Sunday as his Houston Texans torched the Falcons for a 53-32 victory.
