MIAMI (Nov. 13, 2019) – The FIU volleyball team ends the regular season on the road with matches at Conference USA foes Southern Miss and Middle Tennessee. The Panthers face the Golden Eagles at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 14, before the regular-season finale against the Blue Raiders at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 16.

FIU is looking for its first victory since the team took down Charlotte in a five-set thriller on Oct. 11. In the Panthers' most recent contest against Marshall, Gina Lipscomb posted a double-double after tallying a squad-best 22 kills while also recording 13 digs. Sidney Henderson followed closely behind with 21 kills during her final match at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.

LOOKING AT THE GOLDEN EAGLES
Southern Miss is 2-25 this season and searching for its first conference win of the year. The Golden Eagles are led on offense by Kess Krutsinger, who has posted 169 kills this season. Defensively, Madison Lawler comes in with a team-best 4.98 digs per set average.

SCOUTING MIDDLE TENNESSEE
Middle Tennessee holds a 12-15 overall record and 5-7 mark in C-USA play. The Blue Raiders look to snap a two-match skid, having fallen to UTEP 3-1 before being swept by UTSA last weekend. Taylor Hammill guides the MT offense, leading the squad with 9.95 assists per set. Mikaela Weidmann leads Middle Tennessee with 90 blocks this season, averaging 0.95 blocks per set.
