MIAMI (Nov. 4, 2019) - The FIU women's basketball team opens the 2019-20 season Tuesday, Nov. 5, as the Panthers welcome Florida Gulf Coast to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center at 7 p.m. ET.

FGCU PREVIEW
The Eagles earned a 28-5 record during the 2018-19 season, dropping just one game at home to post a 16-1 mark on the year in Fort Myers. FGCU went on to win the ASUN title, before falling to Miami in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
FGCU leads the all-time series against FIU, 10-0. The Panthers and the Eagles last faced on Nov. 16, 2018, with FGCU taking a 100-58 decision over FIU in Fort Myers.

NEWCOMERS
The Panthers welcome seven newcomers to the roster, with four being true freshmen, two being transfers and a walk-on juco transfer.
