MIAMI (July 24, 2019) - Next up in our Q&A series with FIU football is defensive back,
Stantley Thomas-Oliver III. The senior had a breakout year last season after becoming a lockdown corner for the Panther secondary.
Thomas-Oliver was named to the Conference USA Honorable Mention Team last year, after starting in the final 11 games for the Panthers. The corner logged one interception and a team-high 10 pass breakups in 2018, recording 40 tackles overall. Thomas-Oliver III is now preparing for his final season at FIU, as he took time to sit down with FIUSports.com for a little back-and-forth Q&A.

Austin Maloney. He's too fast, once he's past you, might as well strike up the band."
Q: What former or current NFL player did you model your game after and why?
A: "Richard Sherman. His football IQ, mentality and confidence are things I love about his game."
Q: How would you describe Miami to an outsider?
A: "Big city, bright lights, and fast paced. You have to be prepared for anything. One of the best cities in the country."
Q: Describe your fashion style
