MIAMI (July 8, 2019) - Seven FIU swim and dive student-athletes have been named to the CSCAA Scholar All-American Team for the 2018-19 season. The award recognizes students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

For FIU, the entire Panther diving team made the list: Brooke Bouchard, Rachel Foord, Kaitlyn Fredericks, Maha Gouda and Brittany Haskell. Swimmers Oceane Peretti and Holly Shepherd also check in on the list. 

"This is a list that epitomizes what being a student-athlete is all about. Excelling as a student while performing at the elite level of the NCAA," Head Coach Randy Horner said. "I'm proud of the ladies honored today."

The selections draw from 190 colleges and universities across all Divisions and 1,221 swimmers and divers.
