FIU currently has four former Panthers in the NFL, headlined by former standouts T.Y. Hilton and Jonnu Smith being joined by
Alex McGough and Johnathan Cyprien at the start of the 2019 season.
T.Y. Hilton (FIU - 2009-11)
Week 4 Schedule: Raiders at Colts (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Former Panther great T.Y. Hilton hauled in eight passes for 65 yards including a four-yard touchdown catch in the first half of the Colts 27-24 win over the Falcons.
Johnathan Cyprien (FIU - 2009-12)
Week 4 Schedule: Eagles at Packers (Thursday, 8:20 p.m. ET)
Cyprien saw action in the Eagles' 27-24 loss at the hands of the Lions but did not register any stats.
Jonnu Smith (FIU - 2013-16)
Week 4 Schedule: Titans at Falcons (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
After not catching a ball in week two, Smith caught two for 20 yards despite the Titans falling 20-7 to the Jaguars on Thursday night.
Alex McGough (FIU - 2014-17)
Week 4 Schedule: Panthers at Texans (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
McGough was an inactive on Sunday as his Houston Texans needed 20 second half points to top the Chargers 27-20.
