TEAM EFFORT
FIU has seen production from a variety of their players to fuel its 2-0 start to the 2019 campaign, as nine different Panthers have logged either an assist or a goal in the season's first two matches. Seven different Panthers have logged a goal in the first two games, while six players total have contributed an assist. Additionally, a total of four Panthers have logged both a goal and an assist, with those players being returning veterans Andrew Booth, Owen Green, Inigo Sagarduy, and Matias Barraza. Booth leads the way with five points for FIU thus far. Following his excellent performance in the season's opening week, the senior midfielder earned C-USA Offensive Player of the Week, as well as College Soccer News National Team of the Week honors.

NEWCOMERS MAKING IMPACT
FIU is also gaining contributions from its pool of newcomers, as two first-year Panthers have contributed goals for the team in 2019. Senior transfer Alban Rousselet and freshman Stephen Afrifa both scored in FIU's 3-1 victory over No. 17 ranked James Madison in the season's opening weekend.
