MIAMI (Jan. 11, 2020) - Eight Panthers earned spots in postseason all-star games this year, with the group seeking to further their football careers into the professional ranks.

James Morgan, Anthony Jones, Napoleon Maxwell, Austin Maloney, Sage Lewis, Isaiah Brown, Stantley Thomas-Oliver III and Teair Tart all earned bids in 2020.

Lewis, Brown and Thomas-Oliver III received an invitation to the Tropical Bowl this Sunday, Jan. 12. Morgan will play in the prestigious East-West Shrine Game (Jan. 18), while Tart will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. Both all-star games are slated for Saturday, Jan. 18. Jones will cap FIU's participants with the Hula Bowl on Sunday, Jan. 26. The duo of Maloney and Maxwell competed in the College Gridiron Showcase earlier this month. 

After going to a school-record third-straight bowl game last year, the Panthers will seek to continue that winning tradition in 2020 as Butch Davis and the Panthers open the season at home on Thursday, Sept. 3 against Jacksonville State. For the full schedule release, click here.
