MIAMI (Jan. 22, 2020) – The FIU women's basketball team will welcome Old Dominion to Miami on Thursday, Jan. 23 as the two squads square off on ESPN+. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

ODU MONARCHS PREVIEW
The Monarchs are 14-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. ODU is on a three-game winning streak after picking up victories against Charlotte (54-51), WKU (76-65) and Marshall (57-46).

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU trails 3-7 in the series against the Monarchs. The Panthers and the Monarchs last faced on Jan. 12, 2019 in Norfolk, Virginia. FIU dropped a 95-68 contest on the road to Old Dominion.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Thomas posted a triple-double on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Middle Tennessee after earning 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. Thomas becomes just the fifth player in program history to record a triple-double and the first since 2002 for the Panthers. In addition, Thomas is the ninth player in C-USA history to achieve the feat. The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the team in points per game (10.9), free throws per game (2.3) and steals per game (1.2), while ranking second in assists per game (1.6) and third in rebounds per game (2.8). 

CHELSEA IN THE STATS
The Almada, Portugal native ranks 12th in C-USA for rebounds per game (7.2), while leading FIU in rebounds per game (7.2) and ranking second in points per game (10.2), free throws per game (2.0), blocked shots per game (1.0) and third in 3-pointers (0.5) and assists per game (1.2).
