MIAMI (Jan. 29, 2020) – The FIU women's basketball team will head to Huntington, West Virginia on Thursday, Jan. 30 to face Marshall. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. ET.

MARSHALL THUNDERING HERD PREVIEW
The Thundering Herd is 7-11 overall and 2-5 in conference play. Marshall fell to WKU on Saturday afternoon, dropping a 74-65 contest to the Hilltoppers.

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU trails 3-8 in the series against Marshall. The Panthers and the Thundering Herd last faced on March 7, 2019 in Huntington, West Virginia. FIU dropped an 87-42 contest on the road to Marshall.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Thomas posted a triple-double on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Middle Tennessee after earning 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. Thomas becomes just the fifth player in program history to record a triple-double and the first since 2002 for the Panthers. In addition, Thomas is the ninth player in C-USA history to achieve the feat. The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the team in points per game (10.9), free throws per game (2.4) and steals per game (1.4), while ranking second in assists per game (1.5) and rebounds per game (4.2).

CHELSEA IN THE STATS
The Almada, Portugal native ranks 12th in C-USA for rebounds per game (7.3), while leading FIU in rebounds per game (7.13) and blocked shots per game (1.0), ranking second in points per game (9.6), free throws per game (1.8), and third in assists per game (1.2)
