MIAMI (Jan. 3, 2020) – The FIU women's basketball team will continue Conference USA play on Saturday, Jan. 4 on the road, as the Panthers head to San Antonio, Texas to face the UTSA Roadrunners. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. ET.

UTSA ROADRUNNERS PREVIEW
The Roadrunners are 4-8 overall and 0-1 in conference play after falling 80-53 against Florida Atlantic on Thursday, Jan. 2 at home.

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU trails 5-6 in the series against UTSA. The Panthers and the Roadrunners last faced on Feb. 7, 2019 in Miami. FIU earned a 51-40 victory against UTSA.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Jiselle Thomas has posted seven games with double-digit points. Of those seven games, three have been 20 or more point games. The Norwalk, Ohio junior leads the team in points (11.2), free throws (4.2), second in assists (1.8) and ranking third in steals per game (0.8). Thomas was named to the FIU Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 12.0 ppg to close out the month of November.

After Saturday's game, FIU will head back to Miami as the Panthers welcome North Texas to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Thursday, Jan. 9 to continue C-USA play. Tipoff is set for 11 a.m. ET.
