NORTH TEXAS MEAN GREEN PREVIEW
The Mean Gren are 7-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play after dropping a 68-59 conference contest against Marshall at home on Saturday.
INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU trails 9-13 in the series against North Texas. The Panthers and the Mean Green last faced on Feb. 16, 2019, in Denton, Texas. FIU dropped a 75-50 contest on the road to North Texas.
JISELLE ON THE COURT
Jiselle Thomas has posted seven games with double-digit points. Of those seven games, three have been 20 or more point games. The Norwalk, Ohio junior leads the team in points (10.3), free throws (3.8), second in assists (1.7) and ranking third in blocks (0.4) and steals per game (0.7). Thomas was named to the FIU Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 12.0 ppg to close out the month of November.
