MIAMI (Nov. 25, 2020) – Week 11 of the NFL season has concluded with former FIU football players performing on the national stage. 

FIU currently has six former Panthers in the NFL, with former standouts T.Y. Hilton and Jonnu Smith headlining as FIU's top NFL representatives. The pair is joined by new arrivals James Morgan, Stantley Thomas-Oliver III and Teair Tart who began their pro careers this past offseason. 
 
T.Y. Hilton (FIU - 2009-11)
Week 12 Schedule: Titans at Colts (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Former Panther great T.Y. Hilton, now in this ninth season, caught three passes for 36 yards in the Colts' 34-31 overtime win against the Packers.
  
Johnathan Cyprien (FIU - 2009-12)
Week 12 Schedule: 49ers at Chargers (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET)
Johnathan Cyprien signed with the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers prior to the regular season as a practice squad member. Cyprien and the Niners were on a bye.

Jonnu Smith (FIU - 2013-16)
Week 12 Schedule: Titans at Colts (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Former Panther great Jonnu Smith continued his stellar season on Sunday with 20 yards on four catches including the game's opening touchdown in the Titans 30-24 thrilling overtime victory over the Ravens.
  
Stantley Thomas-Oliver III (FIU - 2016-19)
Week 11 Schedule: Panthers at Vikings (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Stantley Thomas-Oliver III, who was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, collected one tackle in the Panthers' 20-0 victory over the Lions.
 
James Morgan (FIU - 2018-19)
Week 12 Schedule: Dolphins at Jets (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
James Morgan, who was selected by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was inactive on Thursday. The Jets were grounded 34-28 by the Chargers.
 
Teair Tart (FIU - 2018-19)
Week 12 Schedule: Titans at Colts (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Teair Tart signed with the Tennessee Titans following the 2020 NFL Draft. Tart had one tackle in the Titans 30-24 thrilling overtime victory over the Ravens.
