MIAMI (Dec. 17, 2020) – The 2020 NFL campaign is in its final month of the season with a number of new FIU football players comprising professional rosters. 

FIU currently has five former Panthers in the NFL, with former standouts T.Y. Hilton and Jonnu Smith headlining as FIU's top NFL representatives. The pair is joined by new arrivals James Morgan and Stantley Thomas-Oliver III who began their pro careers this past offseason. 
 
T.Y. Hilton (FIU - 2009-11)
Week 15 Schedule: Texans at Colts (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Former Panther great T.Y. Hilton, now in this ninth season, led all Colts receivers with 86 yards on five catches and two touchdowns as the Colts pummeled the Raiders, 44-27.   
  
Jonnu Smith (FIU - 2013-16)
Week 15 Schedule: Lions at Titans (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Former Panther great Jonnu Smith returned to action this week with two catches for 20 yards to aid the Titans in a 31-10 victory over the Jaguars.
 
Alex McGough (FIU - 2014-17)
Week 15 Schedule: Seahawks at The Football Team (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
After being released by the Houston Texans on October 12, McGough was added to the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad on Dec. 9. The Seahawks grounded the Jets, 40-3  
  
Stantley Thomas-Oliver III (FIU - 2016-19)
Week 15 Schedule: Panthers at Packers (Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET)
Stantley Thomas-Oliver III, who was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was active on Sunday but did not record any stats as the Panthers fell, 32-27, to the Broncos.

James Morgan (FIU - 2018-19)
Week 15 Schedule: Jets at Chargers (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET)
James Morgan, who was selected by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, was inactive on Sunday. The Jets were grounded 40-3 by the Seahawks.  

Teair Tart (FIU - 2018-19)
Week 15 Schedule: Lions at Titans (Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET)
Teair Tart signed with the Tennessee Titans following the 2020 NFL Draft. The Titans earned a 31-10 victory over the Jaguars.
