MIAMI (Feb. 19, 2020) - The FIU women's basketball team will head to Boca Raton, Florida to face in-state foe FAU on Thursday, Feb. 20. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.

FAU OWLS PREVIEW
The Owls are 11-13 overall and 5-8 in conference play. FAU split last week, dropping a contest against Southern Miss (71-67) on Thursday, while picking up a victory against LA Tech (77-75) on Saturday.

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU leads in the series against FAU 32-14. The Panthers and Owls last faced on Feb. 8, 2020 at home. FIU dropped at 64-61 contest in Miami.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Thomas posted a triple-double on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Middle Tennessee after earning 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. Thomas becomes just the fifth player in program history to record a triple-double and the first since 2002 for the Panthers. In addition, Thomas is the ninth player in C-USA history to achieve the feat. The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the team in points per game (11.0), free throws per game (2.5) and steals per game (1.2), while ranking second in assists per game (1.6) and rebounds per game (4.3). 

CHELSEA IN THE STATS
The Almada, Portugal native ranks 10th in C-USA for rebounds per game (7.3), while leading FIU in rebounds per game (7.3) and blocked shots per game (1.1), ranking second in points per game (9.7), free throws per game (1.9), and third in assists per game (1.3).
