MIAMI (Feb. 21, 2020) - The FIU women's basketball team will continue its road trip as the Panthers head to Ruston, Louisiana to face LA Tech on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. ET.

LA TECH PREVIEW
The Lady Techsters are 12-13 overall and 4-10 in conference play. LA Tech dropped a 63-61 contest at home to Southern Miss on Thursday night.

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU trails in the series against LA Tech 12-1. The Panthers and Lady Techsters last faced off in Ruston on Feb. 2, 2019 . FIU dropped a 90-72 game against LA Tech on the road.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Thomas posted a triple-double on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Middle Tennessee after earning 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. Thomas becomes just the fifth player in program history to record a triple-double and the first since 2002 for the Panthers. In addition, Thomas is the ninth player in C-USA history to achieve the feat. The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the team in points per game (10.9), free throws per game (2.4) and steals per game (1.2), while ranking second in assists per game (1.6) and rebounds per game (4.4). 

CHELSEA IN THE STATS
The Almada, Portugal native ranks 10th in C-USA for rebounds per game (7.3), while leading FIU in rebounds per game (7.3) and blocked shots per game (1.1), ranking second in points per game (9.6), free throws per game (2.0), and third in assists per game (1.4).
