MIAMI (Feb. 7, 2020) - The FIU women's basketball team will kickoff a three-game homestand against FAU on Saturday afternoon, with the two squads tipping off at 2 p.m. ET. The contest will be streamed on ESPN+.

The Owls are 9-12 overall and 3-7 in conference play. FAU dropped games against WKU (68-59) and Marshall (85-75) last weekend. 

INSIDE THE SERIES
FIU leads 32-13 in the series against FAU. The Panthers and the Owls last faced on Feb. 23, 2019 in Miami. FIU picked up a 56-49 victory at home. 

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Thomas posted a triple-double on Saturday, Jan. 18 against Middle Tennessee after earning 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals. Thomas becomes just the fifth player in program history to record a triple-double and the first since 2002 for the Panthers. In addition, Thomas is the ninth player in C-USA history to achieve the feat. The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the team in points per game (10.7), free throws per game (2.3) and steals per game (1.3), while ranking second in assists per game (1.6) and rebounds per game (4.2). 

CHELSEA IN THE STATS
The Almada, Portugal native ranks 12th in C-USA for rebounds per game (7.3), while leading FIU in rebounds per game (7.3) and blocked shots per game (1.1), ranking second in points per game (9.8), free throws per game (1.9), and third in assists per game (1.3)
