MIAMI (March 11, 2020) - A pair of solo homers by
Juan Teixeira and
Justin Farmer lifted the FIU baseball team over Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday night, as the Panthers picked up a 4-2 midweek win.
FIU Improves to 10-5 on the year, while Bethune-Cookman falls to 6-12. The victory for FIU extends its win streak to three games.
Gio Soto picks up the win in relief, marking his first victory on the mound this season.
Farmer went 2-3 at the plate, bringing in two runs on the night. Teixeira went 2-4 at the dish, with his lone RBI being his long ball in the fourth inning.
